Recent environmental events seem to have caused a dramatic decrease in catch rates with a resultant gross decline in the financial viability of this important Tongan Industry. Tonga’s first National Tuna Conference seeks to provide a forum for all interested parties to provide their perspectives and contributions on how the industry can best be established as a sustainable and financially viable industry.
